Getting to + from the city
KIA-Express bus (Vayu Vajra) to specific city neighborhoods (MG Road, Whitefield, Electronic City) — 250 INR (~$3), 45–90 min depending on Bengaluru traffic. Uber + Ola to Indiranagar or Koramangala is 800–1,400 INR + 60–120 min. Pre-paid taxi at arrivals. The new Bengaluru Metro Line will reach the airport by 2026 (under construction).

What's actually good
Above Lounge at T2 (Priority Pass) — actual South Indian breakfast (dosa, idli, vada, filter coffee). Encalm Lounge is the bigger option. Food court has MTR (the original Bengaluru Karnataka chain). The new T2's garden-architecture is worth a slow walk.
Avoid
Booking T1↔T2 transfers under 2h (different security zones). Traffic to/from Bengaluru is real — add 50% to any time estimate during rush. Drinking tap water. Skipping the filter coffee if you've never tried Karnataka-style — different from north Indian chai.
