Getting to + from the city
Pre-paid taxi from the official kiosk at arrivals — ₹650–900 to Colaba/Fort (~$8–11) and 45–90 min depending on traffic. Uber + Ola work, with similar prices. Booking domestic-international transfers with less than 4 hours (T1↔T2 is a 30-min taxi). Drinking tap water. Photographing security personnel. Skipping the monsoon (June–September) flight delays buffer — runway flooding is real. Trying to walk anywhere — there are no pedestrian paths around BOM.
