Clean Acrylic Paint Brushes Like a Pro

Acrylics dry FAST, so act quickly! Don't let them harden on your brushes. Here's how to get them sparkling clean for next time.

Quick Clean (Before Paint Dries)

1. Rinse with warm water immediately after use.
2. Use soap specifically for acrylic paints, or mild dish soap.
3. Gently swirl the brush in soapy water, focusing on bristles.
4. Rinse thoroughly until no soap remains.

Stubborn Paint (Dried On)

1. Soak brushes in warm, soapy water for 15-20 minutes to soften the paint.
2. Use a brush cleaner or a toothbrush to gently scrub away dried paint.
3. Rinse thoroughly and repeat if needed.

Pro tip: Store your brushes with bristles facing down in a jar of water to keep them moist. This prevents the bristles from drying out and becoming brittle.
