Open mic nights are live events that change weekly — I cannot give you a real-time listing. But I can show you exactly where to find them and what to expect, plus how to prepare if you are performing.

Where to Find This Week's Open Mics

1. Eventbrite (eventbrite.ca) — filter by Edmonton, this week, 'open mic' or 'live music'. Shows venue, time, and tickets.
2. Google Maps — search 'open mic edmonton' and check 'Events' tab. Bars and venues list their weekly lineups.
3. Facebook — search 'Edmonton open mic' and follow venue pages. Most venues post weekly schedules in the events section.

What to Expect

Most open mics run 7-10pm, 5-15 minute slots, mix of comedians/musicians/poets. Some are drop-in, some require signup (arrive early). Venues usually require a 1-drink minimum.

Pro tip: If you are performing, get there 30+ minutes early to sign up and scope the crowd. If you are in the audience, arrive after the first 15 minutes unless you want front-row intensity — the vibe relaxes once it starts.
